Gioia Gewels, pronounced Joy-a Jewels, is a new series of wearable art. Each is a one of a kind creation that combines unlikely materials in a way that brings out the unique beauty in each.
Copper or brass are joined with stained or fused glass to form the foundation. From there each one takes on a life of its own. Repurposed items, small found objects, and vintage jewelry compliment one another. The end result is a miniature sculpture. A necklace that is as intriguing as it is beautiful.
